RTA stands for "Ready-To-Assemble." These cabinets ship flat-packed in boxes and are assembled on-site rather than arriving pre-built. RTA cabinets cost significantly less than pre-assembled cabinetry but require correct assembly and squaring to sit right.
Can a Bulky Tech assemble RTA cabinets?
Yes. Bulky Techs assemble RTA cabinet boxes (base, wall, pantry, and vanity cabinets) and set them in place, leveled and squared, ready for countertops, hardware, and doors. This is on-site cabinet-box assembly and placement — not installation, and not a full custom kitchen remodel with plumbing/electrical work.

How long does a full kitchen of RTA cabinets take to assemble?
A typical 10–15 box kitchen (base + wall cabinets) takes roughly 5–8 hours with one Tech, or 3–5 hours with two Techs working together. Larger kitchens or islands add time.
Do Bulky Techs assemble cabinet hardware and hang doors?
Yes — hanging door and drawer fronts plus attaching handles/knobs are included as part of standard RTA cabinet assembly.
Does Bulky do plumbing, electrical, or installation work?
No. Bulky is an assembly and delivery service — Bulky Techs handle cabinet box assembly, leveling, squaring, and securing to studs/each other. We don't do installation work of any kind, including plumbing, electrical, TV mounting, or appliance/utility hookups. Plumbing and electrical work require a licensed plumber or electrician.
